Pakistan Stone Development Company (PASDEC) will establish machinery pools initially in two areas

1.    Risalpur (NWFP)

2.    Khuzdar (Balouchistan)

This modern and up to date Machinery pools will tremendously reduce the Mining cost and inturn increase the productivity.

Selection Criteria for allocation of Machinery:

1.     As machinery in the machinery pool will be given to mine owners on reason able rental rates.  A transparent criteria is setup for allocation of this machinery

2.    Written applications will be received for utilization of this machinery.

3.    Applications will be processed on the basis of consideration of reserves, proximity with cluster, no of days machinery needed, and data on & mine owners available with us.

            Other benefits:

§  Will help other miners to get the latest and up to date equipments and machinery on lease and rentals, which otherwise they cannot purchase

§  Will increase the awareness among the mine owners.

§  These machines will be provided to the mine owners on subsidized rental rates.

§  Upgraded Quarries will utilize the machinery pool effectively.
